Time is so malleable!

It's now British Summer Time, which means that we put the clocks forward an hour at 1am this morning but, strangely enough, I'm still 5 hours ahead of EST. Did you also put your clocks forward? I'm now 9 hours ahead of my daughter in Anchorage so they don't seem to have altered Time.

Yes, we put our clocks ahead the first weekend in March this year. It is a silly thing, in my opinion, to change the clocks. Why don't places who are worried about daylight just change their business hours (or hours of operation)?

Yes, we changed ours also.  We're one hour behind EDT.  I love this time of year.  I love the fact that it doesn't get dark until almost 8 p.m.  The further we go towards summer, the longer it stays daylight.  I wish it would stay like this year round.
