I often see SEO services on sites such as Digital Point, and often wonder, what exactly are they? Do they really boost your websites performance in search engines? How much should I spend on one if they do?

There are some good SEO companies out there, some not so good. Personally, I think with the right knowledge I can do my own SEO with research. There are plenty of books and resources available, plus you can learn and do it yourself and possibly start another niche for yourself to earn money offering SEO to others.

Check out Markus Frind, he did all the SEO for his website and he knew very little about it in the beginning.
