Oh I am feeling so very frustrated! My dad died last August and his estate is by no means large but the solicitor handling it has still not finished. My brother was named as executor so he is the only one that they will speak to and, unfortunately he is not very assertive. Every time he telephones them there is a different person dealing with it. One person left the company, another had a personal tragedy, another was on holiday and the latest is at home on sick leave and the file is with her! To add insult to injury, we have also had an interim bill for their services which is more than four times the amount that the first person quoted for the whole thing. I am now preparing a complaint form about them, but I just don't need this!
