I was bouncing around Rhapsody the other day - one of my favorite hobbies that consists of clicking "similar artists" 'til I find something new that I absolutely MUST have.  This is how I stumbled across Mika.

Listen to "Grace Kelly".  Close your eyes and tell me if you don't have fantastic Freddie Mercury flashbacks!  ;)  This guy is the real deal - what talent, what a voice, what incredible curls!

What songs/musicians do you have on "perma repeat"?!

hehe Some here from their age may not know who you mean, but I do. FM was a good artist and is missed by many.

I have a huge play list but I can bounce from one thing to another too quick so I had no real fav's.
If you reply to a PM from me please quote me back. Remember there are many of you & there is only one of me.

Freddie was an amazing, irreplaceable talent.  If you aren't familiar with him, go listen to a few Queen songs and you'll know what I mean.  Surely anyone who has ever been to a sporting event has heard "We are the Champions"!

Fwiw - I read recently that Brian May (lead guitarist for Queen) recently completed his PhD in - PHYSICS after a 30yr break!  Bravo!

Mika is the closest thing to Freddie since Freddie himself. Did you hear that even FM's mother is amazed how much Mika sounds like her son?
